how do I commission an artwork?!
Step 1: Take images of the home or porch. [Not sure about the photo? See the guide below.] Then, fill out and submit the commission form below with the photos.
Step 2: Jennifer will reach out and, if needed, request any additional information or photos.
Step 3: Jennifer will confirm the commission request and you will pay a 50% deposit.
Step 4: Jennifer will contact you when the artwork is finished with a photo. You will pay the remaining balance and Jennifer will ship the artwork to you.
How to take a photo of the house or porch:
For houses, please stand directly in front of, centering the building. Zoom out to include surrounding landscapes and trees as desired. Try to have cars out of the way. Take several on different days to see how the colors take.
For porches, focus on the favorite part, as images that span a large space will need cropped. Focus on including doorways, chairs, and plants that make the space special. Keep the camera level, rather than at dramatic angles. If the area has lots of “stuff” on it, remove items that you don’t want included in the painting.
